I have a established a not for profit organization, Project SIS. My hope and dream is to fund assessment with a behavioral optometrist for children who are experiencing learning difficulties due to functional vision problems. Functional vision problems include double vision, eye tracking problems, blurred vision and many other symptoms. Basically these vision problems relate to the way the eyes function and how the brain processes visual information. These challenges are not related to 20/20 vision.
I’m seeking advise, guidance, any expertise whatsoever regarding how to get a not for profit up and running’ so a much needed service can be provided.
